EVENTS | La Marche des Champions (Walk of Champions)

The 4th edition of La Marche des Champions (Walk of Champions) was initiated by YaniSport, an ex-soldier of the French army and a very popular coach in France. Departing on November 24, he walked for 24 days from Marseille to Lille (about 1000km / 622 miles) in extreme conditions: no shelter, no money, no hitchhiking, no water or food, no comfort. He relied on the solidarity and generosity of his community to provide him with supplies all along the way!

Money raised for this walk supported the CéKeDuBonheur Association, which is committed to improving the daily life of hospitalized children and adolescents in a joint effort with several hospitals throughout France. Their help has made children’s dreams a reality by hosting parties, bringing gifts, and arranging visits to hospitals.

It is a cause that the Matrix Fitness France team immediately supported by collecting donations and gifts during the Matrix Bus Tour–a multi-city tour across France presenting our latest Matrix products. The whole team was mobilized and followed YaniSport’s journey on Instagram! Denis Daon (Managing Director), François-Eric Leclerc (Marketing & Communications Manager) and two sales managers from the Matrix Fitness France office accompanied him on 30 km (18 miles) of the journey in complicated weather conditions to show support.

As a result of the event, the Matrix bus was completely filled with gifts! All gifts and donations were distributed to three hospitals over the holidays, and more will be delivered over the course of 2022. Thank you to the Matrix Fitness France team for elevating the fitness industry by truly supporting health, wellness and quality of life!
